Walnut boards
One-off pieces with a live edge, ideal for tops and shelves.
Sawmill and timber trade since 1923 — San Pietro al Natisone, Italy
Corredig Gino & C. selects boards, components, beams and rare species for those who work with wood — professionally or for the love of it.
What we supply
We select raw material and semi-finished timber for those who want quality, character and a reliable supply. From craft work to bespoke projects to the one-off piece, every request starts with choosing the right wood: species, shape, size, workability.
Selected timber for precise work, with consistent batches and even thicknesses.
Semi-finished timber ready to work, sized around what your workshop needs.
Sections for carpentry, roofing and structural applications.
A century of sawmilling: we do the cutting ourselves, so we know what is inside the log.
Including timber from foreign forests: species you rarely find elsewhere, picked piece by piece.
Local and imported timber, in stock or to order. Availability changes week by week: ask us what is in the yard right now.

Hobbyists and private customers
At Corredig you do not need large volumes or industrial batches to be welcome. We are used to people who work wood for the love of it: carvers, people building something with their own hands, anyone after the special piece they cannot find elsewhere.
Even for a single piece. Bring the drawing or the dimensions and we take care of the rest.
Tell us what you want to build. We will tell you which wood holds, which works best and which ages the way you hope.

Work with us
There are two ways to work with us: join the team, or bring us a proposal. We read both, even when we have no position open and no supply contract up for renewal.
We look for people willing to learn a trade you can only learn by doing it: choosing logs, running the machines, yard work, stock and order handling. Experience helps, but it is not the first thing we look at.
Send us your CV as an attachment: we keep speculative applications on file and come back to them when the need arises.
Send your CVIf you have logs to offer, represent a company in the trade, or work with furniture makers, joineries and design studios, let us talk. We consider ongoing supply, contract sawing and partnerships on projects that call for selected timber.
Tell us who you are and what you are proposing: we answer even when the answer is no.
Contact
Tell us the species, dimensions and quantity and we will come back with a concrete proposal. If you do not have those details yet, write anyway: we will work them out together.
